R. Balakrishnan, popularly known as R. Balki is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and former Group Chairman of the advertising agency Lowe Lintas (India). His upcoming movie PadMan is an Indian biographical comedy-drama film inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu.
