Communication & Documentation Officer

SKILLS REQUIRED

Education:

At least a Bacheloru2019s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.

Initiative and creativity:u00a0

Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction.

Mustu00a0be a confident communicator and have good presentation skills.

Excellent written, and interpersonal skills:

Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally.

Language:

Fluent in English

Good time management:u00a0

Mustu00a0possess excellent organisational and planningu00a0skills.

Collaboration:u00a0

Ability to work independently and with a team.

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is necessary.

Work Ethic:u00a0

Being an NGO, work continues 24/7 (or as and when needed), so candidate must have an enthusiastic willingness to work over-time and on weekends from time to time.

Knowledge of Adobe Suite (including Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator) is an asset

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications:

Creating communications content on behalf of the organisation to be shared with Corporate Partners, Donors and Students.

Documentation:u00a0

Providing guidance, explaining requirements and problem solving when required for documentations help.

Reports and Presentations:u00a0

Make the design, content and production of all the communication collaterals, i.e, Proposal, Pre-Reports, Post-Reports, Bi-Annual and Annual Reports and presentations, etc.

Data Management and Analysis:u00a0

Student Data, Interviews and analytical skills for Scholarship Programmes.

Management and communication:u00a0

Interactions with Donors and Students for various scholarship projects and initiatives.

Collaboration:u00a0

Work closely with operations, scholarship and communications team members to conceptualise and implement communication strategies, mentorship events and interactions involving students and donors.
