Project UDAAN

Project UDAAN is a comprehensive programme aiming to support the secondary and higher secondary education of meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Through a rigorous selection process, the programme identifies highly deserving candidates and awards scholarships to assist them throughout their educational journey. Additionally, it closely monitors and evaluates the progress of students, while also providing capacity-building opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Selected students receive scholarships for a duration of 6 years, covering various academic expenses such as school fees, tuition fees, books, stationery, and other educational necessities. The programme’s ultimate goal is to establish a platform for young individuals to become catalysts for social change, empowering them to contribute effectively and effortlessly to societal progress.

Moreover, the programme offers a range of courses and awareness initiatives designed to enrich the educational experience of students. Through mentorship sessions and guidance from counsellors, students have the opportunity to interact with esteemed experts from diverse fields, receiving valuable guidance, motivation, and inspiration. This holistic approach fosters the overall growth and development of students, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their academic and personal endeavours.

Selection Process for the Scholarship Program

1. Application

Through the Yuva Unstoppable Website

2. Eligibility Criteria

A minimum score of 90 percentile / 80 percentile in X / XII Grade exam | Family income less than INR 3,00,000/- per annum

3. Document Verfication

Pre-requisite documents to be submitted for verification (mark-sheets, income certificate, AADHAR card, proof of residence etc.)

4.Test

Objective-type screening test based on the SSLC syllabus

5.Interview

Yuva Unstoppable team along with partners personally interview the qualified students

6.House Visit

A home visit is organized to assess the overall background of each student which also allows family interaction

7.Selection

final selection is based on merit, test scores, and in-depth interaction with each student and family

We are happy to share with you that Yuva Unstoppable has successfully given over 2000 scholarships in 2022-2023 under Yuva Unstoppable Scholarship Program. Congratulations to all who have received the same. We will again start the new scholarship for the next academic year around June -July 2023. Check our website for regular updates. Mentoring Sessions

The scholarship scheme facilitates regular mentoring and training sessions for the scholars conducted by benefactors and various eminent personalities & experts from different industries. Mentoring sessions revolve around interaction and guidance proving to be inspiring for the scholars. The sessions enable overall growth and development of the students. Regular career counselling is also provided to the students to aid effective and rewarding career choices.

Mentoring Sessions

Regular meetings are also organised for guiding the students and helping them overcome their challenges through the year. The aim of these interactive sessions is to build a dialogue around career and life in general, with the students and their parents and boost their morale. It offers a safe space for students to freely discuss their problems and encourages prompt resolution of the same. Quarterly Analysis and Mentoring sessions are conducted to further enable all-rounded development of the scholars.

Expert Sessions

In these sessions experts from various fields like engineering, medicine, accounts, etc. are invited to share their subject knowledge and experience with the beneficiaries. The objective is to support the children to get more clarity about their areas of interest and set realistic aspirations. Therefore, it serves as a catalyst for effective decision making and career choices among students. The students get first-hand experience into the challenges of professional life as well as the secret of excelling in their endeavours.
